NEWYORK: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has welcomed the defence pact between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
Addressing the UN General Assembly session in New York, he described it as a step toward establishing a comprehensive regional security system, with the cooperation of the Muslim states of West Asia in political, security and defense domains.
He said Iran has never sought and will never seek to build nuclear weapons.
