Anjuman-e-Ghousia will take out its 40 th Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession on September 7

NEWYORK: The Anjuman-e-Ghousia in New York has announced the celebration of the 40th annual Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) on September 7. The procession will start from Avenue H and return to its designated route to conclude at the same location.

Anjuman-e-Ghousia organized a meeting and press conference at the local hall on Coney Island Avenue with regard to preparation for the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) celebration. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

The consultative meeting was attended by Anjuman-e-Ghousia Head Pir Syed Safdar Hussain Shah, General Secretary Mushtaq Naqshbandi, other office bearers, organizational members and prominent figures of the community.

The meeting was presided over by Sheikh Ashfaq. On this occasion, the Naat Khawans presented Naat in honor of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

Pir Syed Safdar Hussain Shah gave details of the preparations and arrangements for the procession. He said that Anjuman-e-Ghausia has the honor of celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi in New York for the past forty years.

The participants of the consultative meeting gave suggestions and advice to further improve the arrangements for the procession.

The speakers said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi will be celebrated in a historic manner, and wherever the procession is held across the city, we will participate in it with full discipline.

Qasidah Burda Sharif and more Naats were also recited on this occasion.

The speakers present at the meeting conveyed the message that the participants of the procession should ensure punctuality as well as the implementation of discipline. They said that participants should attend the procession and illuminate their hearts with the remembrance of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

The procession will start from Avenue H on Sunday, September 7 at 10 A.M and it will be accompanied by breakfast for the participants and prayers will be offered at the procession’s route.
