NEWYORK: A Soyem of late Pakistani American businessman Amjad Khawaja was held at Islamic Center of Long Island in which prayers and Quran recitation was offered for the departed soul.
Amjad Khawaja’s family members, relatives, and close friends attended the Soyem gathering held for offering prayers and Quran recitation.
Religious preacher advised the participants that success in this world and the hereafter can only be achieved by following the divine commandments of Allah Almighty and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Participants offered Fateha and prayed Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
Amjad Khawaja had injured when he fallen down the stairs at his home and during treatment in the hospital, he suffered a heart attack and passed away a few days ago.
