GENEVA: Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain has reiterated the support of the government and people of Pakistan for Palestinian people.
The support was extended at an event titled “International Solidarity Meeting with the Palestinian Labor and People” organized under the auspices of Arab Labor organization in Geneva.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain strongly condemned the barbaric atrocities and use of force against the unarmed civilians including children, women and elderly people in Gaza.
He urged the global community to provide immediate financial, medical, and food assistance to the people of Palestine.
The Minister also demanded for immediate action by the United Nations and ILO to stop the massacre and restoration of normal civic life.
Minister for Labour Palestine Dr Anaas Atari along with senior leadership of Arab states, the Director General ILO, General Secretary ITUC condemned the killings and genocide of Palestinian people including children and women.
The meeting was also attended by ministers and senior dignitaries of ILO member states in large number.
