CHICAGO: Pakistani American community took out rally to express solidarity with Pakistan and observed day of gratitude on Pakistan’s victory against Indian aggression at Devon Avenue in Chicago.
The Pakistani American community of Chicago also organized a solidarity conference to express their views on the Indian aggression against Pakistan and to express their full support for the Pakistan armed forces.
The event was moderated by Salman Aftab, and the program began with a recitation of the Quran by Qari Abdul Manan.
A large number of Pakistani American attended a conference and paid tribute to the Pakistani armed forces.
Salman Aftab said that the Pakistan armed forces has written a historic chapter in military history by giving a befitting reply to the recent Indian aggression with bravery and professionalism.
He said our brave armed forces have thwarted the enemy’s drone attacks, artillery and Rafale aircraft. He paid tribute to the Joint Chief of Staff Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar, Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf and all the officers and armed forces personnel and saluted their bravery.
Pakistan’s Consul General in Chicago Tariq Karim said that Pakistan is a peaceful country that is on the path of development, but if there is an attack on national security and honor, Pakistan reserves the right to take strong retaliatory action to protect its borders.
Tariq Karim said that through this conference, the American Pakistani community has expressed complete solidarity with the Pakistani armed forces.
Among the speakers, a prominent Pakistani American businessman, Naveed Anwar, paid tribute to the Pakistani armed forces for giving a befitting reply to India. He said that India is a coward enemy that attacked innocent civilians in the dark of night while the people and the Pakistani armed forces are united in this difficult time.
The organizer of the event and a member of the Greater Chicago Pakistani community Rashid Chaudhry said that the hearts of Pakistani Americans beat with Pakistan and they are united against the Indian aggression which violated the Pakistani borders. Bureau chief of Pakistan Newspaper Rana Javed said that the American Pakistani’s congregation under one roof against Indian aggression is proof of national solidarity.
