
NEWYORK: Pakistani American have expressed solidarity with the Pakistan armed forces, which gave a befitting response to Indian aggression. Pakistani Americans living in New York paid a great tribute to the courage, bravery, and valor of the motherland and its brave sons.
Overseas Pakistani Global Foundation, Council on Pak-US Relations, and Pakistan Christian Association of USA organized an event titled United for Pakistan, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the national anthem.
The organizers of the event, Zeeshan Ahmed, Zaheer Mehr, Shakeel Sheikh, and others, said that the brave soldiers of Pakistan’s army have responded to India in a befitting manner, and India will not dare to attack again on Pakistani soil.
The Pakistani American community participated above their political affiliations. The speakers said that our political differences do not matter. In matters of national security and defense, we are one and will remain one.
Personalities associated with the fields of fine arts and literature also participated in the event. They expressed their love for the motherland by reciting their poetry.
Members of the Sikh community also participated in the ceremony. Sikh leaders said that it has been the Indian government’s tradition to oppress the oppressed and target the defenseless people with terrorism and put all the blame on Pakistan.
A large number of Pakistani American community participated in the ceremony to express solidarity with Pakistan and the military leadership, and gave the message that the enemy should not mistake our desire for peace as our weakness.
The organizers of the ceremony also prepared a special cake decorated with the design of the Pakistani flag, which everyone cut together at the end and celebrated the defense by raising slogans of Long Live Pakistan.
