WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump said that India and Pakistan have agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire.
In a social media post on X, he said this agreement was reached after a long night of talks mediated by the United States.
Donald Trump congratulated both the countries on using common sense and great intelligence. He also thanked them for their attention to this matter.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said on social media platform X that Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region, without compromising on its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
