Pakistani consulate in Jeddah organizes event for Christian community on Easter

JEDDAH: Pakistani Consulate in Jeddah organized an event on the occasion of Easter, in which people from different walks of life, including members of the Christian community, participated the event.
The special guest of the ceremony was the Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah Khalid Majeed.
Consul general Khalid Majeed highlighted the teachings of Jesus Christ and highlighted the importance of humility, patience and brotherhood.
He said that these qualities are a beacon of light for all humanity and the Pakistan Consulate has always been committed to protecting the rights of minorities.
The Chairman of the Christian Community, John Gulzar, also addressed the ceremony and thanked the Consulate, the Pakistan Army, and the Saudi government for their continuous support and encouragement.
He said that the Pakistani and Saudi governments cooperation were encouraging for the Christian community and it promotes unity and brotherhood.
The ceremony was attended by other distinguished guests, including Pastor Patrick, Pastor France, Raphael Khokhar and Ms. Rima Gulzar.
Certificates of appreciation were also presented to individuals who have played a prominent role in community service. The event was a reflection of unity, tolerance, and the spirit of Easter, where people from different religions and cultures celebrated together and conveyed a message of love and harmony.
