NEWYORK: The Pakistani American Community of Long Island (PACOLI) organized an Eid Milan party.
PACOLI vice president Salman Sheikh was given the lifetime achievement award and medal from the US President.
A large number of members of the Pakistani community participated in the Eid Milan party. The Eid Milan party began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
PACOLI general secretary Asim Malik and joint secretary Kashif Idrees moderated the event and also recited poems.
PACOLI founder Qamar Bashir presented vice president Salman Sheikh with the lifetime achievement award and medal received from the US President.
Salman Sheikh said that this award has been given considering his 5 to 6 years of work. He said that now they were also installing clean water plants in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
PACOLI founder Qamar Bashir said that every person succeeds and fails in life and he is grateful to everyone on this occasion.
Appreciating the services of Qamar Bashir, the founder of the social organization, PACOLI President Humayun Bashir, the first Pakistani inspector in the New York Police Department, Adeel Rana, Jamal Mohsin and others said that PACOLI is not just an organization but a family.
PACOLI founder Qamar Bashir’s wife Tasneem Qamar, Tahira Din and others said that we have respect and love, we have to unite and become the voice of others.
PACOLI also distributed prizes among the participants at the Eid Milan party while famous singer Saima Jahan sang melodious songs.
