NEWYORK: The first youth center of the Muslim American Society Brooklyn Branch, located in Brooklyn, New York, successfully organized an Iftar on the Go program during the blessed month of Ramadan.
The program was aimed to facilitate the local Muslim community and provide free halal iftar to deserving families so that they can break their fast with their families in their homes.
The iftar program begins at 4 pm every Sunday during Ramadan and continues until all the iftar boxes are distributed.
The distribution of the iftar boxes was carried out in an organized manner at the Youth Center in Brooklyn, New York, where people receive the iftar and then left for their homes.
On this occasion, community volunteers served with great enthusiasm and created a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
According to the organizers, the iftar on the Go program is part of the ongoing Grab and Go iftar initiatives in all boroughs of New York, which aims to provide food to everyone in need during the holy month of Ramadan.
The iftar on the Go program was not limited to just providing food, but also proved to be a practical example of promoting mutual cooperation, brotherhood and love among Muslims.
