
NEWYORK: Nassau County District Attorney candidate Nicole Aloise has assured that if she is elected in the election the voters of the county will definitely see reforms in the criminal justice system and its positive results.
She was addressing a meet and greet event organized by American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee at residence of Dr. Mohamamd Hasan in honor of district attorney’s candidate Nicole Aloise.
APPAC team warmly welcomed the Nicole on her arrival and introduced her with the member of the APPAC.
APPAC Chairman Dr. Ijaz Ahmad said that Nicole is one of the best prosecutors and sincere friends of the Pakistani community.
The meet and greet event was attended by APPAC board members including youth wing President Arsal Ejaz and others.
On this occasion, the newly elected president of APPAC, Dr. Pervez Iqbal, also drew attention of district attorney candidate to the important problems faced by the Muslim community and also suggested that there should be special legislation for the protection of Muslims.
Nicole Aloise has 16 years of extensive experience in the field of law and will be the head of all prosecutors if elected District Attorney.
Addressing participants, Nicole Aloise said that what happened in the past will not be repeated and she assured that if elected, no discrimination will be made with anyone on the basis of religion or nationality.
APPAC’s executive board director Dr. Sadia Tahir also asked questions from Nicole Aloise with regard to providing vocational training opportunities to youth.
APPAC’s guest and Nassau County District Attorney candidate Nicole Aloise said that she is running the election for the betterment of society, not just for politics.
