NEWYORK: Pakistan People Party USA celebrated Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s 36th birthday at a local restaurant in Brooklyn in which party officials, workers and community members participated.
The chief guest of the event was Imtiaz Pirzada, who came from Texas, while other senior party leader Javed Akhtar, who came from Pakistan, also participated in the ceremony as a special guest.
The speakers lauded the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his services for the promotion of democracy in Pakistan.
PPP USA President Khalid Awan and New York President Zafar Chatta said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari entered into the politics at a very young age and worked tirelessly to carry forward the vision of his mother Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and maternal grandfather Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

The women leaders said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s birthday is not only an occasion for their personal happiness, but this day is also a manifestation of a new determination and unity for the party.
Other party leaders who attended the event also highlighted Bilawal’s democratic struggle, defense of people’s rights and his role in the political scene of Pakistan.
The event was also attended by other prominent party leaders and workers, who wished Bilawal Bhutto well and paid tribute to his leadership. The participants also cut Bilawal Bhutto’s birthday cake and prayed that he would always serve Pakistan.
