Pakistan’s ambassador to US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh holds talks with congressman Tom Suozzi over call

Washington DC:  Pakistan Ambassador to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh had a telephonic conversation with leading member of Congressional Pakistan Caucus Rep. Tom Suozzi.

Pak-US relations and further strengthening of bilateral cooperation was discussed during the conversation.

Congressman Tom Suozzi congratulated the ambassador on assumption of duties as the Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States Pak-US relations are of great importance to both the countries and the region.

Pakistani Ambassador said that the positive trajectory of bilateral relations is encouraging and we are determined to fully utilize this spirit of goodwill and friendship for further strengthening of multifaceted relations, especially economic ties.

The ambassador of Pakistan Rizwan Saeed Sheikh thanked Congressman Tom Suozzi for expressing good will and his felicitation message on the occasion of Independence Day.

Rep. Tom Suozzi appreciated the Pakistani community for their contribution towards strengthening Pakistan-US relations and their services for the country.

During the conversation, they reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen Pak-US relations, work together to promoting people to people ties and to mobilize and strengthen Pakistani caucus in the US Congress.

Suozzi recently assumed his responsibilities as the chair of the Congressional Pakistan Caucus.
