NEWYORK: Pakistan People Party USA celebrated the 69th birthday of President of Pakistan and Co-Chairman of Pakistan People Party Asif Ali Zardari in New York.
A large number of PPP USA leaders, activists attended the birthday event for President Asif Ali Zardari at local hotel in Brooklyn.
Addressing on the occasion, PPP senior leader from Pakistan Javed Akhtar said that President Asif Ali Zardari give respect to all persons and did not even take revenge from his enemies.
PPP USA President Khalid Awan said that Asif Zardari always fought for truth who is called Mard-e-Hur and all of them were associates of Asif Ali Zardari who followed the legacy of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and worked for the progress of the country.
PPP New York President Zafar Chatta, senior PPP leaders Jamshed Gujjar and Salman Butt paid rich tribute to the President Asif Ali Zardari for leading the party from the front and faced several difficulties and incarceration during his political struggle.
Other party leaders also paid rich tribute to the President Asif Ali Zardari and highlighted his political struggle, sacrifices for the party and the country.
Chairman Pakistan Muslim League (N) Wazirabad Chaudhry Imtiaz Ahmed Chatta also appreciated Asif Ali Zardari for his political struggle and leadership quality and expressed hope that he will become third time President of the Pakistan for his tireless efforts for Pakistani people.
Some of the participants also read poems written for President Asif Ali Zardari. The participants of the event later cut the cake for Asif Ali Zardari. The event was organized not only to celebrate Asif Zardari’s birthday but also aimed to gather PPP members and supporters on one platform to express their commitment and support.
