Consul general of Pakistan in New York engages with Pakistani students

NEWYORK:The consul general of Pakistan in New York, Aamer Ahmad Atozai, recently held a meeting with Pakistani students studying at various universities in New York. 
The primary aim of the meeting was to listen to the students’ concerns and work towards resolving the issues they face during their academic tenure in the United States.
He reaffirmed the consulate general’s commitment to supporting Pakistani students from their admission into universities through to their eventual employment.
 He emphasized that the Consulate is dedicated to enable local assistance with their initial settlement, logistics, legal issues, accommodation, and cultural integration.
The consul general outlined plans to offer resources and networking opportunities aimed at helping students secure internships and employment after their post-graduation.
During the meeting, Mr. Atozai stressed the importance of maintaining a strong connection with the Pakistani student community and encouraged students to reach out to the consulate with their concerns and suggestions.
The session concluded with a informal discussion, where students had the opportunity to directly address their specific issues and receive feedback from the Consul General.
