Youm-e-Takbeer celeberated in New York

NEWYORK: Youm-e-Takbeer was celebrated in New York on the completion of 26 years of Pakistan becoming as nuclear power.

Pakistan Muslim League (N) New York chapter organized a simple but dignified ceremony to celebrate the 26 theTakbeer Day.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of PML(N) activists, other political parties representatives and Pakistani community people belonging to different walk of life.

Addressing the participants, PML(N) US President Rohail Dar and Vice President Mian Fayyaz said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto started the nuclear program, with the efforts of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan which was later completed and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif conducted nuclear tests despite international pressure.

The speakers said that Pakistan should minimize its dependence on foreign loans and made clear that there was no political division in overseas Pakistani as all are Pakistanis and Pakistan is our real identity.

The participants of the event also emphasized that we need to introduce our new generation to Pakistan and make them realize that they have a blood relation with Pakistan which will never end. They lauded the bold decision of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and said that due to such brave decision the Pakistan emerged as first Islamic nuclear country.

The participants also cut the cake together and raised the Takbeer slogan. In the end, prayers were also offered for the development, stability and prosperity of Pakistan as well as rich tribute was paid to martyrs of Pakistan for their sacrifices.
