Rawalpindi: Armed forces killed two terrorists including the most wanted Gul Yousaf alias Toor after being shot out in Tank district Khyber Pukhtoonkhawa.
According to ISPR, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Tank District, on the reported presence of terrorists.
During the operation, two terrorists including HVT Gul Yousaf alias Toor were killed after an intense exchange of fire.
ISPR said that Gul Yousaf remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces including high-profile terrorist attacks in Tank and DI Khan districts as well as extortion and target killing of innocent civilians.
He was highly wanted by Law enforcement agencies and the Government had fixed Head money of Rs. 2.5 million on him.
The local populace appreciated the efforts of the security forces in maintaining peace and stability in the area.
Security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
