The APAG distributed warm clothes to hundreds of people outside the Makki Mosque on Coney Island Avenue known to be the little Pakistan. Clothes included jackets, warm hats, gloves, socks and other items for women, men and children. On the occasion of the drive, officials of the American-Pakistani Advocacy Group said that winter lasts in New York until April and May, that’s why winter stuff is being distributed to people even now. According to the organizers of the drive, with the ongoing cold wave and snowy winds in New York, many people feel the need for warm clothes.
