New York Muslim community hosted a reception in honor of Eric Adams.

New York City,

The Muslim community in New York hosted a ceremony, in honor of New York City mayoral candidate Eric Adams. The dinner was attended by a large number of Muslims from Pakistan, Arabic, Bengali and other countries.

While addressing the participants, Eric Adams said,

“Since I entered in the politics, I have always stood up for the rights of Muslims and that is why I have the full support of Muslims.”

 

Jennifer Rajkumar, a female member of the New York State Assembly, attended the ceremony wearing a traditional Muslim dress, shalwar kameez and a headscarf. While addressing the audience,

she said that the support of the Muslim community has played an important role in my success as an Assembly Woman.

The host of the event and Muslim representatives from different countries also expressed their views and hopeful that Eric Adams will be elected as New York City mayor and will fulfill all the promises made to Muslims.
