The American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) along with Council member Chaim Deutsch conducted a Census 2020 outreach event in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn while distributing grocery bags and masks to community.
APAG members Ali Rashid, Amin Ghani, Naveed Chaudhary and Aneeza Riaz were awarded citation from Councilman Chaim Deutsch for exceptional service to community.
APAG will continue to work and collaborate to assist communities in need and make sure communities get counted in the upcoming Census 2020.
The 2020 Census will determine congressional representation, inform hundreds of billions in federal funding every year, and provide data that will impact communities for the next decade.
APAG requests all community members to make sure to fill out the Census.
