Pakistani American Association of New York(PAANY) and Ashiana Adult Day Care organized Weekly Food Pantry at Coney Island

New York City eases in lock down, while life is slowly returning to normal. The Pakistani community is engaged in social work for lock down affected peoples of the city.

In New York City, Coney island, Ashiana Adult Day Care and the Pakistani American Association of New York distributes free food.

Muhammad Karim, of Ashiana Adult Day Care, and Aslam Dhalan, chairperson of the Pakistani American Association of New York(PAANY), jointly organized a food pantry on Tuesday at Coney Island Avenue, NYC and distributed food among the needy.

About 500 people have been benefited from the food pantry. The organization distributes free necessities to people of all faiths, regardless of race or color.
