NEWYORK: Pakistan People Party USA and New York celebrated the 38th birthday of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari with great enthusiasm at a local restaurant on Coney Island Avenue in New York.
Renowned filmmaker Suleman Butt attended as the chief guest and received a warm welcome upon his arrival.
The event begin with recitation of Holy Quran by the Raja Asad who later invited party leaders to the stage.
PPP activists and the local community participated in the event with great zeal and spirit. Additional General Secretary of PPP USA Farazullah Khan who traveled from Washington, moderated the proceedings and congratulated everyone on Bilawal Bhutto’s birthday.
Addressing the participants, PPP USA President Khalid Awan said that the spirit of serving Pakistan runs in Bilawal Bhutto’s blood. He expressed hope that if elected as Prime Minister, Bilawal would steer the country onto a new path of progress.
PPP New York President Zafar Chattha, Jamshed Gujjar, and chief guest Suleman Butt paid glowing tributes to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s leadership and his democratic vision.
A family visiting from Japan also specially attended the event to express their devotion to Bilawal Bhutto.
Speaking on the occasion, senior journalist Azeem Mian remarked that the level of political acumen demonstrated by Bilawal Bhutto at such a young age is unparalleled.
Other prominent party leaders and workers also attended the event. Women leaders remarked that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has proven his leadership capabilities not only within the country but also on the international stage.
Other party leaders present at the event highlighted Bilawal’s democratic struggle, his defense of public rights, and his role in Pakistan’s political landscape.
PPP activists also shared their thoughts during the celebration of Bilawal Bhutto’s birthday. Speakers noted that the birthday is not merely an occasion for personal celebration but also symbolizes renewed resolve and unity within the party.
Later, the PPP activists urged people to participate in a protest demonstration outside the United Nations on September 26 to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people. A cake was also cut to mark Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s 38 th birthday.
