NEWYORK: A young man of Pakistani-America Arman Aziz, who passed away after suddenly collapsing while going to work in New York two days ago, was laid to rest in New Jersey.
Arman Aziz, a 22-year-old member of the Kashmiri-American community in New York, was walking along the sidewalk on Kings Highway in Brooklyn on his way to work two days ago when he suddenly collapsed and passed away.
Aziz body was shifted to Al-Rayan Muslim Funeral Services on Coney Island Avenue for funeral rituals. The funeral prayer was offered at Makki Masjid after Friday prayers.
A large number of community members attended the funeral.
Addressing the congregation, the mosque’s Imam, Raja Munsif, remarked that a person enters the world empty-handed and leaves all worldly wealth and possessions behind; the only thing that accompanies one into the Hereafter is one’s deeds.
He urged everyone to strive to improve their Hereafter rather than focusing solely on the worldly life.
After the funeral prayers, young Arman Aziz was laid to rest at the Jersey State Memorial Cemetery in New Jersey.
