NEWYORK: Al-Fatemah Islamic Center organized a religious gathering to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi, in which a large number of Pakistani American community members participated.

Religious scholars and speakers highlighted various aspects of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), highlighting the message of love, brotherhood and service to humanity.

A large number of community members attended this spiritual and grand ceremony of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) held at Al-Fatwmah Islamic Center in Albany, New York. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

Maulana Waseem Abbas Malik, spoke on the subject of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He highlighted the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, his high morals, mercy and kindness, justice, brotherhood, and the message of service to humanity.
The ceremony was moderated by Dr. Haider Khawaja.

The highlight of the ceremony was the recitation of Naat by the renowned Naat Khawan Fasihuddin Suhrawardi. He offered Naats in honor of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) with devotion and love.
Fasihuddin Suhrawardi also presented Kalam-e-Ilahi and Sanaye Jaafar.

Later, Dr. Imdad Imam thanked the audience. A cake was also cut in celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi. The ceremony held at Al-Fatima Islamic Center once again united the Muslim community of the capital district on the message of love for the Prophet, unity, brotherhood, peace and service to humanity.
