NEWYORK: A special prayers gathering was held at the residence of Syed Alamdar Hussain Shah, a social activist and council member of the Nassau County Asian American Advisory Council, in New York on the demise of his mother, in which prominent figures from the Pakistani American community, including Pakistan’s federal minister Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, participated in the condolence reference.
A large number of the Pakistani American community members attended the special prayers gathering held at the residence of Syed Alamdar Hussain Shah in Long Island and expressed their condolences to Syed Alamdar Hussain Shah, Syed Amjad Hussain Shah and Syed Musa Kazim Shah.

Pakistani Consul General Amir Ahmed Atuzai also participated in the prayer gathering. Renowned Islamic scholar Syed Tawsawar-ul-Hassan Gilani prayed for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks, forgiveness and patience and fortitude for the bereaved family.
The condolence reference was attended by many prominent figures of the Pakistani American community. Syed Alamdar Hussain Shah specially thanked all the participants, especially federal minister Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, who came to the US from Pakistan, and thanked the community for praying for his mother.
