NEWYORK: Pakistan has renewed its call for an immediate cessation of hostilities in Ukraine.
The call was made by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad while speaking during the UN Security Council briefing on Ukraine.
The Ambassador urged a return to sustained, structured and meaningful negotiations, stressing that there is no military solution and that lasting peace can only be achieved through dialogue grounded in the UN Charter.
