NEWYORK: Pakistan has called for strengthening the UN-African Union partnership.
Speaking at the Security Council briefing on cooperation between the United Nations and regional and sub-regional organizations with reference to the African Union, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad commended the African Union’s leadership in conflict prevention and Peacebuilding.
