CHICAGO: The Chicago Tea Festival, held at Lawrence Avenue in Chicago, proved to be a colorful, informative and flavorful festival.
More than 35 countries and communities participated in the event, which aimed to highlight the culture, traditions and flavors of tea from around the world.
The festival had about 40 stalls which featured a variety of teas, pastries, confectionery, handcrafted utensils, teapots, kettles, and tea-related books and literature.
Organizers told the media that this is their second event, and their mission is to provide an immersive and educational experience for tea enthusiasts, foster a sense of community, and celebrate the different forms and traditions of tea.
Participants were also offered free hot and cold samples of various teas, including teas from Japan, China, Pakistan, India, Tanzania, and Zanzibar. Tea lovers, suppliers, buyers, and curious enthusiasts attended the unique event in large numbers.
A special exhibition on Japanese tea and culture captured everyone’s attention, while tea workshops, lectures, and infusion tastings enriched the participants with both knowledge and taste.
The event proved to be a successful, informative, and memorable experience. Participants congratulated the organizers on the excellent arrangements and expressed hope that the tea festival will be held with the same enthusiasm next year.
