Masjid to be inaugurated soon at Plainfield Avenue Edison, Mayor Joshi

NEW JERSEY: Mayor of the Edison, New Jersey Sam Joshi has announced that a new Masjid will soon be inaugurated on Plainfield Avenue. He was addressing the Pakistani community at iftar dinner.

Business and social figures of Pakistani American community Adnan Khawaja, Baseer, Sunni and Mohammad Atif, hosted an iftar dinner for the community at the Edison’s local hall.

A large number of Pakistani American community persons participated in the iftar dinner which was also attended by the Mayor of Edison Town, who belongs to the Indian community in New Jersey, and other American officials.

Addressing participants, Sam Joshi and others congratulated the participants on the holy month of Ramadan.

They said that we continue to do various programs and projects for the Muslim community and recently the construction of the Masjid has been completed, which will be a gift for the Muslim community.

The organizers of the New Jersey-Pakistan Day Parade, New Jersey, and the host committee members also participated in the Iftar dinner.

Addressing participants, the hosts of the community iftar, Adnan Khawaja, Waqas Hashim alias Sunny, Baseer and Mohammad Atif, thanked all the guests for their presence.

The heads of Masajids and Islamic centers in New Jersey, representatives of non-profit organizations also participated in the community iftar dinner in large numbers.

The community welcomed the organization of the iftar dinner and highly praised the efforts of the host committee. The prayers were also offered for the resolution of the collective problems of the Muslim Ummah and for success in this world and the hereafter.
