Masjid-e-Baitullah inaugurated in Long Island

NEWYORK: A new Masjid-e-Baitullah, has been inaugurated at Albertson, Nassau County in Long Island. The first Taraveeh prayers will be offered on Friday.

Construction of the Masjid had been started ten years ago in 2015 after purchasing a building in the Albertson area of ​​Nassau County, Long Island, which has now been completed in the form of the North Shore Islamic Center and the very beautiful Masjid-e-Baitullah.

Masjid-e-Baitullah was specially inaugurated on the arrival of Ramadan and is now open for offering prayers.

The construction of Masjid-e-Baitullah was completed with the efforts of the Masjid’s board of directors, Israr-ul-Hassan, and the organizers, Imam Mughdi, Habib Afridi, and Syed Faizi Haider.

In addition to prayers and Taraweeh, religious teachings and social programs will also be held in the Masjid for the moral training of the youth, while the first Taraveeh will be held on Friday.

A well-known contractor associated with the construction sector in New York, Naveed Athar did not charge any fees or profits for the construction of the Masjid, which saved the administration about $4,00,000 in construction costs.

All possible facilities have been provided for the worshipers according to the requirements of the Islamic Center besides quality materials have been used in the construction of the Masjid. The construction of the North Shore Islamic Center and the Baitullah Masjid is a great gift for Muslims living in Albertson.
