NEWYORK: The wedding ceremony of Hassan Qamar, son of Bashir Qamar, founder of the Pakistani American Community of Long Island, was held at a local hall in New York.
A large number of community members, including relatives and close friends, attended the joyous occasion.
The ceremony began at 7 pm, where the guests were warmly welcomed. The hall was beautifully decorated in white and gold colors while the main stage was beautifully arranged for the magnificent presence of the bride and groom.
A big name in Urdu literature in America and a well-known poet, Mamoon Ayman, presented a wedding poem for the bride Azma and the groom Hassan Qamar in his own unique style. Hearing Mamoon Ayman’s poetry, the guests gave them a standing ovation.
On this occasion, PACOLI’s founder Bashir Qamar and his wife Tasneem Qamar thanked all the guests for coming.
The elders, friends, and family members present at the ceremony expressed their love and best wishes for Hassan and Azma. Many people expressed their comments and prayed for a couple’s happy married life.
Later, the bride and groom also cut the cake. A lavish banquet was also arranged on this occasion of happiness.
