NEWYORK: A fundraising event and dinner was organized in New York for the Hassan Suleman Memorial Hospital that was being constructed in Malir area Karachi for poor and needy people.
The hospital will provide free modern health facilities to the needy and poor persons after its completion.
At the fundraising event that was held at local hotel in Long Island, the hospital’s president and trustee, Dr. Javed Suleman, briefed the participants about the hospital.
He said that medical treatment in Pakistan is expensive and the low income and poor people cannot bear the burden of medical expenses. He said that the Trust was trying to help the Pakistani people by providing them health facilities.

The event was attended by business and social figures from the Pakistani American community, while Congressman Tom Suozzi and renowned religious scholar Mufti Mohammad Farhan also attended as special guests.
Congressman Tom Suozzi also announced to award certificate of appreciation to Dr. Javed Suleman and said that the work of serving humanity should always be continue.

Earlier, Dr. Rizwan Naeem and others also shed light on the hospital project. The speakers said that the hospital is for Pakistani people and we have to complete its construction. The participants were told that the hospital is a 300-bed project and the first phase of the hospital will be completed in 2026.
The Sulaiman family said that this hospital will provide world-class modern medical facilities at low and reasonable rates, while free treatment will be provided to the needy and deserving people.
