NEW YORK: A ceremony was hosted by Lieutenant Abrar in honor of New York Police Department’s Inspector Adeel Rana and Deputy Inspector Misbah Noor to celebrate their promotions to the post of Inspector and Deputy Inspector. Close friends and colleagues participated in the celebration.
It is pertinent to mention that two Pakistani-American police officers were promoted to important positions in the New York Police Department. Adeel Rana, who was posted as a deputy inspector, was promoted to inspector, while Captain Misbah Noor was promoted to deputy inspector.
Adeel Rana is the first Pakistani-American to be promoted to the rank of inspector in the New York Police Department.
Lt. Abrar hosted reception in honor of Inspector Adeel Rana and Deputy Inspector Misbah Noor, celebrating the promotion of both officers by cutting a cake. The birthday of well-known community figure Mohammad Ali was also celebrated by cutting a cake.
