DALLAS: A fundraising event was held in Dallas for the Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital, currently under construction in Karachi.
The hospital is named after the late son of Dr. Javed Suleman, a Pakistani-American physician. Donations totaling $400,000 were raised, and the hospital is expected to be completed and inaugurated by the end of this year.
The grief of losing a loved one is profound; when it involves the accidental death of a young child, the human mind can become overwhelmed, effectively numbed by the intensity of the emotion.
Yet, there are individuals who, rather than allowing the tragic, accidental loss of their young son to fester into a source of lasting despair, have chosen a different path.
Among such remarkable people is Dr. Javed Suleman, a Pakistani-American physician who lost his young son, Hasan Suleman, in a tragic traffic accident two years ago.

Bearing this immense sorrow, Dr. Suleman took an initiative for the benefit of humanity, one that will save countless lives. He decided to establish a state-of-the-art, multi-story, free-of-charge hospital in the Malir area of Karachi, named in memory of his late son. The project is now in its final stages of completion.
A fundraising event was held in Dallas, Texas, to support the final phases of this significant project.
In a remarkably short span of time, a substantial sum of approximately $400,000 was raised.
The organizers of the fundraising event Dr. Babar Zubairi, Dr. Amjad Mir, Dr. Saba Shabnam, and Dr. Fariha Ejaz spoke to the media and provided detailed information regarding the hospital project.
According to the organizers, work on this project has been ongoing, day and night, for the past two years.

They said that nine-story hospital building will offer a full range of modern medical treatment facilities, all provided free of charge. They said the Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital in Karachi is set to be inaugurated this December.
The organizers said that this was the third event in the series all of which have been highly successful and that these efforts will continue.
The Dallas chapter has pledged to provide full support moving forward as well.
Later, Dallas-based singer Parvez Mehdi delighted the audience with his exceptional vocal performance.
