DALLAS: The current US administration’s stringent policies and the rapidly rising cost of medical insurance have further exacerbated the financial hardships faced by ordinary Americans.

Keeping in view of these challenges, a medical team from the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), led by Dr. Uzair, who is head of their mobile medical clinic, set a magnificent example of brotherhood by organizing a free medical camp at the Shia community’s Islamic Center Momin in Dallas, Texas.

The medical camp was held at Islamic Center Momin after the Friday prayers. People were provided services including screenings for diabetes, blood pressure, eye and dental health, as well as counseling across various medical specialties.

Dr. Mohsin Haider (former president of Islamic Center Momin) and Dr. Mohammad Ali Mirza welcomed the initiative taken by ICNA.

Approximately 200 men and women benefited from the medical camp, with the majority being elderly individuals. Through this event, ICNA Relief conveyed a clear message that they will not allow any conspiracy to transform sectarian differences into hatred.
