NEWYORK: Pakistan People Party USA celebrated birthday of PPPP chairperson and president Asif Ali Zardari in New York which was attended by the party leaders, workers and the Pakistani community.
The event, held at a local restaurant in Brooklyn, began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
Pakistan People Party USA’s additional general secretary Farazullah Khan moderated the event.
Pakistan People Party USA President Khalid Awan, PPP New York President Zafar Chhata, US Vice President Salman Butt, Information Secretary New York Sohail Tipu, Women Wing Senior Vice President Rukhsana Sohail, Azra Dar, Dr. Uzma, Lubna Khan, Jamshed Gujjar, Humayun Safdar and other party officials were also present.
The speakers paid tribute to the political services of President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan and expressed their best wishes for his health, success and long life.
Other speakers participating in the event said that Asif Ali Zardari led the party in difficult circumstances and played an important role in strengthening the democratic system.
Women participating in the ceremony also wished Asif Ali Zardari a happy birthday and appreciated his political services.
Later, participants cut the President Asif Ali Zardari’s birthday cake while the participants also raised enthusiastic slogans in favor of the Pakistan People’s Party.
The participants reiterated their commitment that they will maintain their commitment to the party’s ideology and leadership.
