NEWYORK: The South Asian American Small Business Association hosted a reception in Long Island to recognize the services of Nassau County Republican Committee Chairman Joseph G. Cairo Jr. The participants of the event pledged their full support for the county executive and New York Governor candidate Bruce Blakeman.
The event was moderated by Deputy County Attorney Shaharyar Ali, who introduced the guests.
He said that under the leadership of the Republican Party, Nassau County has demonstrated exceptional performance in all fields.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of prominent figures from the political, social and business circles of the Pakistani American community, including the office bearers and members of the Republican Party in Nassau County.
Addressing the participants, Nassau County Republican Committee Chairman Joseph G. Cairo Jr. described his family background and journey from education to politics. He said that there are countless opportunities for advancement and development in America, but these should be available only on the basis of merit.

The participants also provided funding for County Executive Bruce Blakeman, who is also a candidate for Governor of New York from the Republican Party, and reiterated their commitment that they will fully support him in the elections.
Republican Party officials in Nassau County also expressed their views.
The South Asian American Small Business Association presented a shield to Nassau County Republican Committee Chairman Joseph G. Cairo Jr. for his services.
Later, a Qawwali concert was also held in which Qawwals performed Sufi poetry and captivated the audience.
