Quran Khawani and condolence meeting held for late Abdul Rasheed Chaudhry in New York

NEWYORK: A Quran Khawani and condolence meeting for late Abdul Rasheed Chaudhry, a businessman and social figure of the Pakistani American community, was held at Masjid-ul-Noor in New York.

Brother-in-law of Staten Island’s businessmen and social figures Ajmal Chaudhry and Azhar Chaudhry, Abdul Rashid Chaudhry passed away due to illness two weeks ago.

A large number of people from various walks of life, including political, social and business circles, participated in the Quran Khwani.

The participants expressed their condolences to the families and legal heirs of deceased Haji Naeem Chaudhry, Ajmal Chaudhry, Azhar Chaudhry, Rukhsana Zahid, Zahid Chaudhry and Tayyab Jamil Chaudhry.

Imam of the Masjid, while addressing the audience, said that in Islam, the Quran and Hadith are such a subject that every Muslim is a student and in this religion there is a clear divine message that death is an irrefutable reality, it is not possible to deny it.

Prayers were also offered for the forgiveness and elevation of the ranks of the late Abdul Rasheed Chaudhry.
