NEWYORK: Former Chairman of National Database Registration Authority in Pakistan Tariq Malik has been included among the world’s twenty-five best experts in the digital sector.
Tariq Malik is currently working as a technical advisor digital public infrastructure at the World Bank.
The renowned international company Octa Ventures has released a list of twenty-five of the world’s best experts who have distinguished themselves in extraordinary creation and innovation in the digital industry.
This year’s theme is Identity is the Control Plane, which places user identity at the center.
The former chairman of the National Database and Registration Authority, the institution issuing the national identity card in Pakistan, Tariq Malik has also been included in the list at number eleven, which is a great honor for Pakistan at the global level.
In this regard, a tribute was paid to the names, photos and basic information about the names, photos and affiliations of the individuals included in the list on the digital screen in New York’s famous Times Square by running a profile of the individuals included in the list on the digital screen.
Tariq Malik was the Chairman of NADRA from 2012 to 2014 and from 2021 to 2023.
