Pakistan has reaffirmed its support for all efforts aimed at resolving the Ukrainian conflict in a peaceful, comprehensive and durable manner.
This was stated by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad at the UN Security Council briefing on Maintenance of Peace and Security of Ukraine.
The Ambassador hoped that all sides would make full use of the ongoing diplomacy, demonstrate genuine political will, and engage constructively to make meaningful strides towards a peaceful and negotiated settlement of the conflict, starting with an immediate ceasefire.
