ISTANBUL: Pakistan and Turkiye have agreed to work closely to increase the trade volume up to five billion dollars in the coming years.
This has been decided in a meeting between Pakistan’s federal minister for communications Abdul Aleem Khan and Türkiye’s minister of trade Professor. Dr. Ömer Bolat on the sidelines of the 5th ECO Ministerial Meeting on Commerce and Foreign Trade in Istanbul.
During the meeting, Abdul Aleem Khan highlighted the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Türkiye.
Pakistan’s federal minister expressed satisfaction over the growing, multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
Abdul Aleem Khan reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to expanding economic, trade,and investment ties with Türkiye.
Both sides also exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest and agreed to work together across all sectors for further strengthening bilateral relations.
