NEWYORK: A Texs Chicken & Burger franchise has been inaugrated in the borough of Staten Island, New York. The restaurant will serve 100 percent halal food.
Texs Chicken & Burgers, famous for its fried chicken across America, has been established in the Staten Island area of New York. The inauguration ceremony began with recitation of Holy Quran.
Texs Chicken franchise was decorated with balloons and other decorative items in its similar colors at opening ceremony.
A large number of fried chicken and burger enthusiasts were standing in a que at the inauguration of franchise.
The owner of the store, Pakistani-American businessman Ayaz Siddiqui, said that this is opening of first branch, but we will extend this chain further and open as many franchises as possible. He said that we will ensure that only 100 percent halal food is available here.
On this occasion, Ayaz Siddiqui also helped his staff in the kitchen in preparing fried chicken.
In Texs Chicken franchise, women are also working alongside men. Free food was distributed to customers through the grand deal. The customers enjoyed a lot and called the establishment of the franchise a great addition to Halal Foods.
Ayaz Siddiqui further said that the number of franchises established in New York, New Jersey and other places has reached to 60.
Later, Ayaz Siddiqui expressed his gratitude to the community who took pictures with him and prayed for the success of the business.
