ISLAMABAD: US Chargé d’Affaires in Pakistan Natalie Baker held meeting with federal minister of state for religious affairs Kheal Das Kohistani in Islamabad.
The meeting deliberated on the importance of religious freedom and interfaith harmony.
Kheal Das Kohistani said Pakistan has ensured protection of its minority communities’ rights, and stands as an epitome of interfaith harmony and religious tolerance in the world.
He expressed Pakistan’s desire to work with the United States for promotion of mutual respect, interfaith harmony and peaceful co-existence.
The US Chargé d’ Affaires said her country appreciates Pakistan’s religious and cultural richness and is committed to promote respect for all communities.
