PSNT to organize Independence Day Quaid Mela

HOUSTON: The Independence Day Quaid Mela organized by the Pakistan Society of North Texas will be held on Saturday. Renowned Pakistani singers will perform their art in Independence Day Quaid Mela.

Pakistan’s Independence Day is being celebrated with enthusiasm all over the world, including Pakistan.

The annual Independence Day Quaid Mela organized by PSNT will be held at the Fresco Flyer Event Center.

A market will also be set up for Pakistanis living in Texas, with stalls selling traditional Pakistani food, clothing, and other products.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and Pakistani Consulate General in Houston Mohammad Aftab Chaudhry will be the special guests.

Renowned singers Saima Jahan, Anzi DX, Amir Ali and the Ismaili Band will also perform in the event.

The entry and parking will be free at the Quaid Mela.

PSNT’s newly elected President Naeem Sakia has appealed to Pakistani Americans residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to participate in this festival.

He said that PSNT has decorated festival for Pakistanis as per its tradition in which all the colors of Pakistan will be seen. He said that we will prove that even though we are far from our beloved homeland but our hearts beat for Pakistan.
