ISLAMABAD: American Pakistani Advocacy Group President Ali Rashid attended a special reception hosted by the US Embassy in Islamabad.
The reception was held in honor of a distinguished congressional delegation from the United States.
The congressional delegation also included Democratic Representative Tom Suozzi, Co-Chair of the Congressional Pakistan Caucus, Republican Representative Jack Bergman, and Democratic Representative Jonathan Jackson of Illinois.
This visit was an important effort to further strengthen Pak-US relations, promote mutual trust, and lay the foundation for better connections between the people of the two countries.
On this occasion, Ali Rashid met with the congressional delegation and discussed Pak-US relations, the role of the Pakistani American community, and the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
The American Pakistani Advocacy Group welcomed the growing ties between Pakistan and the United States and reiterated its unwavering support for the enduring partnership between the two countries and expressed its sincere gratitude to Acting US Ambassador Ms. Natalie Baker for her warm hospitality and her continuous efforts in promoting Pak-US relations.
