NEWYORK: A Pakistani-American candidate of the Republican Party Amir Sultan, who is contesting from District Ten of the New York State Assembly, has become the voice of his voters in the election debate.
Amir Sultan has appealed voters to participate in early voting from October 26 or on November 5 and make him successful by voting.
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People organized an election debate between the Democratic and Republican candidates in Huntington Town, Long Island, under the title Meet the Candidate Forum.
A Pakistani-American candidate from IT industry Amir Sultan is also a candidate for New York State Assembly District 10 and is running against Assemblyman Steve Stern. Amir Sultan not only pointed out gun violence, residential crises, drugs, police accountability and other problems but also suggested better solutions in the debate.
The Democrat and Republican candidates who participated in the election debate openly highlighted various issues and put their manifesto in front of the public.
Amir Sultan said that local community persons should be appointed in police department as it will help to resolve problems in an appropriate way.
The event was attended by a large number of supporters of the Democrats and Republican parties, including the Pakistani community who came from different parts of New York.
Amir Sultan appealed to his voters to opt for early voting starting from October 26 instead of waiting for November 5.
Earlier, Amir Sultan’s campaign manager Dr. Minhal Ali who is voluntarily running a Sultan’s campaign, said that they need volunteers for the election campaign and urged the youth to support them.
Amir Sultan has assured his voters that if he is elected, he will do his level best to solve the problems faced by the residents of his constituency as soon as possible.
