NEWYORK: Global Hussaini mission took out a procession at Jamaica Queens, Long Island, New York, with regard to the martyrdom of the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (PEACE BE UPON HIM) Hazrat Imam Hasan (AS).
This was the fifth annual procession organized by the Global Hussaini mission. The procession started from Jamaica Queens and ended at the Al-Khoei Foundation. Majlis was organized before the procession in which Maulana Ishrat Abbas addressed the participants and narrated the virtues and sufferings of Imam Hasan (RA)
The religious scholar said that this procession is taken out so that the people of Islam can be told how the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (PEACE BE UPON HIM) was martyred. At the end of the procession, the famous mourner Khwashir Abbas Sain described the sufferings of Hazrat Imam Hasan (RA) and Ahle Bait in his unique style. Later, Global Hussaini mission provided Niaz to the mourners.
