Pakistan American Patriot Association organizes Pakistan’s Independence Day in Dallas

DALLAS: Pakistan American Patriot Association organized Pakistan’s Independence Day in Dallas with great enthusiasm.

A large number of Pakistani-Americans living in Dallas, Fort Worth metroplex and other cities along with their families participated in the independence festival.

Famous singers from Pakistan Ali Haider, Shehzad Opal, Hadi Opal and Malaika Faisal stole the show with their best performances.

On this occasion stalls of Pakistani traditional food were also set up by the organizers while stalls related to clothes, jewelery and public convenience services were also set up which were the center of attention of the participants.

Women, children, old and young people participating in the independent festival were seen waving the flags of Pakistan, enjoying national songs and showing intense love for their beloved country. They said that they all remember their homeland Pakistan here in America and are praying for its development because the their heart belongs to Pakistan.

Talking to Voice of South Asia, PAPA President Inamullah Sherwani said that he has been organizing the independence day event every year. He said that a large number of Pakistani-American attended the independence event which is guarantee of the success of this festival.

 

He said that people have not only enjoyed the performances of the singers but also enjoyed the stalls here.

Mr. Sherwani expressed his gratidute to the entire team and volunteers of PAPA and thanked the sponspors of independence event as without their help organizing such big event could not be organized.

Vice President of PAPA Dr. Rabia Khan said that freedom is a great blessing and its importance could be asked from the people of Palestine and Ukraine.

She said that all Pakistani American living in America respect and value the independence day of our dear country and we are all celebrating this day together with great enthusiasm.

PAPA’s general secretary Ifti Khan congratulated the Pakistani American and all others Pakistani living around the world on 77 th independence day and thanked all the participants for organizing this successful show and pays tribute to the entire team of PAPA.

Pakistani pop star Shiraz Opal told VOSA that Dallas independence festival was a great show and Pakistani Americans living here are very loving and he saw great patriotism in them.

Pakistani artist Hadi Opal said that he feel proud for himself that he came here to represent the country away from the homeland. He said that he feel delighted to see that even here in abroad the spirit of patriotism lives in their hearts of Pakistani people.

Famous singer Ali Haider said that we want to tell that we are far away from Pakistan, but even here we are celebrating Pakistan’s independence with great enthusiasm.

At the Dallas independence event, a special stall was set up by the Dallas chapter of American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee APPAC, the representative organization of American Pakistanis at the national level, on which the team of APPAC chapter was present under the leadership of Imtiaz Rahi.

The participants of independence event thanked the entire team of Pakistan American Patriot Association (PAPA) and expressed hope that they will have shows and fairs of this level in the future.
