NEWYORK: A non-governmental and non-profit organization of New York Bismillah Foundation has started the construction of a Masjid and the community center in the town of Sindh province, Pakistan.
A social and business figure of the Pakistani community in New York Usman Abbas had established a Bismillah Foundation to help the Pakistani people and now the foundation was serving the humanity in various fields.
The welfare organization was providing free education to the orphans and poor children as well as monthly ration and essential commodities were being provided to low income and deserving families.
Bismillah foundation was also engaged in several welfare activities including free food to deserving persons, installation of clean water filter plants in rural areas, medical camp, seminary and shelter home for transgender community. The foundation has now started construction of a Masjid in the rural area of the Sindh province.
Bismillah foundation’s head Usman Abbas said that not only the Masjid will be constructed but there will be a community center where the children and youth will be provided education and their social issues will be resolved.
He said that Bismillah Foundation was only providing financial resources for construction of Masjid whereas the management of the Masjid and community center will be administered by the local community representatives.
