NEW YORK: President of Pakistan People’s Party USA Khalid Awan has said that PPP will file petition against those judges of superior courts who passed illegal judgments including Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto case.
Addressing an event organized to commemorate death anniversary of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto at local hall of Coney Island avenue Brooklyn, PPP US President said that we think those judges who passed illegal orders including Z A Bhutto case should not deserve to title retired judges of superior court with their names. He said that PPP overseas have decided to file a petition in Pakistani courts against those judges who delivered illegal judgments including Z.A Bhutto case.
PPP New York President Zafar Iqbal Chatta said that April 4 is a day of mourning when a person who made Pakistan an atomic power was judicially murdered. Safdar Humayuon Qureshi said that may Allah grant highest place to Quaid-e-Awam in Jannah and all of us should follow the path of Bhuttoism.
Jamshed Gujjar said that everyone knows the April 4 but we are thankful for our seniors who remind us the sacrifice of Quaid-e-Awam.
Participants of the event paid rich tribute to the former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for the Pakistan who not only introduced secularism in the country but also help in promoting economic growth of the country. Raja Asad presided over the event. At the end of the event, the participants raised slogans for expressing solidarity with the PPP.
